About This Project

A robotics application to improve the vision therapy/orthoptics, based on eye tracking exercises, for Autism Treatment.

 

Vision Therapy. A program designed to enhance the conditions for learning-related vision disorders, such as amblyopia, strabismus, focussing, teaming, and tracking.

 

Clinical Use of robots. Many individuals with ASD show a preference for robot-like characteristics over non-robotic toys or humans and respond faster when cued by robotic movement.

 

Machine Learning. The children activity and questions are saved in cloud storage to feed a machine learning model that can analyze the progress of the patient and predict possible therapy improvements.
